Boys and girls have been involved in planting for their village.

Three Beavers from 1st Beeding and Bramber Scout Group helped Beeding in Bloom to replant containers at St Peter’s Green.

Pat Nightingale, from Beeding in Bloom, said: “They enjoyed digging holes for the plants and firming them in, and were especially enthusiastic about watering them afterwards.”

Poppy Pringle, Alma Gloster and Daniel Waldron joined the planting team before their weekly meeting, along with Beavers leader Heather Armstrong. They were also assisted by little Charlie Gloster.
