WRITERS who want to improve their technique can get advice from a published author at Shoreham Wordfest’s Fiction Factory.

Crime and thriller writer Sue Walker is leading the ten-week course for writers of fiction, whether experienced or just starting out.

It starts on Wednesday at the Ropetackle Arts Centre, Little High Street, Shoreham, from 7pm to 9pm.

The course fee is £145 for the ten sessions, with a reduction of up to 20 per cent available on application for students and those on low income or benefits.

Sue said: “Do you want to write more, improve your technique, or just to get started? The course will move your writing forward, whether you are an experienced writer or just starting out.

“There is also the opportunity to be part of a showcase event in Shoreham Wordfest 2015 this autumn, and to have your work published in this year’s festival anthology”

Sue is an experienced creative writing tutor and lecturer. Before becoming a professional author, she worked for more than 20 years as an investigative television journalist.
