Arundel’s tug of war set to pull in the crowds
The tug of war brought Tarrant Street to a standstill as hundreds of people gathered to watch teams from the town’s pubs battle it out, and in the close-fought contest the King’s Arms’ own team were crowned as the victors.
This year, the pub is determined to retain the trophy it won in 2013 and the tug of war is expected to attract more teams than in 2013 when it takes place at 3pm on bank holiday Monday, August 25.
