A GANG of teenagers have been bailed after they were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to rob.

Police made five arrests in Croft Avenue, Southwick, at 4.15pm on Sunday, after a member of the public spotted five youths acting suspiciously and in possession of face masks and knives.

Following an immediate search of the area the arrests were made.

Four boys and a man aged 18, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to rob and have been questioned.

A 13-year-old Lancing boy has been bailed until August 13, a 16-year-old boy from Shoreham has been bailed until August 15 and two boys both aged 16 from Goring have been bailed until August 14 and 15. An 18-year-old man from East Worthing has been bailed until August 19.
