TEA in the grounds of Wiston House was enjoyed by guests at a fundraising event.

And not just any tea – a Most Spectacular Afternoon Tea, organised by award-winning fundraiser Jeannette Jones.

It was one of her regular events supporting the Sussex MS Treatment Centre in Croft Avenue, Southwick.

“The sun shone on this event, allowing the 159 guests to be able to wander through the grounds and then enjoy a most amazing afternoon tea,” said Jeannette.

“It was a fantastic day with an amazing turnout. What I was so very pleased to see was that maybe 70 to 80 per cent of those who attended did not have any direct links with the centre, which ‘spread the word’ about this wonderful place.”

Jazz entertained during the afternoon last Sunday and local companies provided raffle prizes, helping to raise £1,050.

Jeannette said she is talking ‘a small rest’ before preparations for the Most Spectacular Christmas Fayre in November. Contact 01273 594484 for more information.
