ADUR Homes is holding its first fun day to promote wellbeing in the community.

The event, at Adur Recreation Ground on Sunday, midday to 5pm, is supporting a number of different charities and organisations with stalls for fundraising and increasing awareness.

“It has a strong health and wellbeing element, with free fitness classes throughout the day from independent instructors, as well as Impulse Leisure and Worthing Leisure.

“There are also free football and rugby training sessions throughout the day.”

Adur Homes has also teamed up with Adur Outdoor Activities Centre to offer taster sessions in archery, canoeing, climbing and paddle boarding, as well as Shoreham Sailing Club, which is offering trial sailing sessions.

There will be a wellbeing hub provided by Community Wellbeing, craft stalls and refreshments stands. For younger children, there will be craft activities, funfair rides, face painting and various animal attractions.

Live bands will play throughout the afternoon on the main stage, including Shoreham Allstars.
