Business is booming for a Chichester charity shop – so much so it has decided to open on Sundays to meet demand.
Staff at St Wilfrid's Hospice furniture and donations shop in Summersdale will be starting a season of Sunday opening this Sunday (July 5) from 10am until 4pm and will continue to open on the first Sunday of every month during the summer.

ay openings are taking place on a trial basis until September and if they prove popular then staff may consider making them permanent.
To make life easier for customers, the shop is offering a collection and delivery service which will operate on the Saturday before each Sunday opening.
Staff are now appealing to customers for more good-quality donations such as elegant furniture, electrical goods and soft furnishings as well as high-end clothing and tasteful bric-a-brac for the charity's seven other shops.
The Summersdale store is open six days a week from 9am until 5pm.
The site has a car park and larger items can be delivered in the Chichester area for a small charge.
