MID Sussex playgrounds have been given the thumbs up after their annual quality and safety inspection.
The district council provides more than 120 equipped playgrounds and four skate parks and arranges for an independent inspection of accessibility, safety and play value of each site once a year.
The latest inspection this spring attributed the majority of the playgrounds a score of 70 to 80 per cent.
