Arundel experienced something of the Hollywood lifestyle when a film crew came to town
The crew of 50 people from HSI London descended on the town for the day, to film the latest BT "Adam and Jane" television advert, at a house in Kings Street.

The advert will be screened from August 15.

Kat Maidment, TV producer from advertising agency Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, said: "Arundel is a beautiful place — that's why we chose it."

In the series of adverts starring Kris Marshall, best known from his role in sit-com My Family, and Spooks' Esther Hall, the character Adam has moved to Cornwall.

Producers wanted somewhere to portray the West Country feel, having to make the long trip from London.

"Everyone has been very friendly and helpful, and interested in what we are doing. They have all been asking what we are up to," added Maidment.

"We are working in a very narrow street, almost blocking it off, but no one has complained and everyone has been very accommodating"
