Festival goers young and old didn't let gloomy weather dampen their spirits as they soaked up the atmosphere during the busy Rox weekend.
Bognor seafront was awash with people from far and wide joining in the annual celebration of creativity.

With performances from the likes of Hugh Cornwell of The Stranglers and Bognor's Big Swing Band, to fringe entertainment including street entertainers and arts workshops, there was something for everyone during the two-day event.

Organisers hailed the festival, which returned to its seafront home for the event's 18th year, as a "massive success" and said they hoped the free festival would return to Bognor next year.

The main stage was located in the grounds of The Royal Norfolk Hotel while other areas along the prom and seafront gardens were used for fringe activities and art exhibitions.

See the Observer on Thursday, August 7 for the report and pictures.
